چکیده
In this paper, we discuss a possible combination of Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) and Neo-deterministic Seismic Hazard Assessment (NDSHA), propose new warning model, EEW2.0. The aim is to provide differentiated alert various end-users based on the results seismic hazard assessment evaluation. implementation such system contains three basic steps: (a) classification “potential cause hazard” in terms magnitude; (b) determination source areas building database Modified Mercalli Intensity (MMI) maps, considering all earthquake scenarios area, for whole protected area; (3) equipping unique decision framework specific end-users. When damaging (M ≥ 5.0) detected, EEW2.0 quickly matches prepared MMI map by estimated magnitude epicenter, then directly extracts value issues an early public. With great attention resources put into reduction its secondary risk 21st century, proposed will likely play active role protecting lives reducing economic losses.

A large number of MPI implementations are currently available, each of which emphasize different aspects of high-performance computing or are intended to solve a specific research problem. The result is a myriad of incompatible MPI implementations, all of which require separate installation, and the combination of which present significant logistical challenges for end users. Building upon prio...
متن کاملSWARM-BOT: from concept to implementation
This paper presents a new robotic concept, called SWARM-BOT, based on a swarm of autonomous mobile robots with self-assembling capabilities. SWARM-BOT takes advantage from collective and distributed approaches to ensure robustness to failures and to hard environment conditions in tasks such as navigation, search and transportation in rough terrain. One SWARM-BOT is composed of a number of simpl...

The Coordinated Atomic Action (or CA action) concept is a unified scheme for coordinating complex concurrent activities and supporting error recovery between multiple interacting objects in a distributed object-oriented system. It provides a conceptual framework for dealing with different kinds of concurrency and achieving fault tolerance by extending and integrating two complementary concepts ...

We review the origins of the Virtual Observatory (VO) concept, and the current status of the efforts in this field. VO is the response of the astronomical community to the challenges posed by the modern massive and complex data sets. It is a framework in which information technology is harnessed to organize, maintain, and explore the rich information content of the exponentially growing data se...
